Here we can see the direction of electron motion, when a Resistor is connected across a Battery. The switches are given to show that how the electrons from the negative terminal of the Battery is reaching the positive terminal of the Battery after circulating through the closed circuit.
Always remember that the direction of current is just opposite to the flow of electrons.
